With le need de assessing le risk posed by nanotechnology, it is essential to characterise le nanomaterials being synthesised. Un range de methods employed pour characterisation, such as X-Ray diffraction, Scanning et transmission electron microscope, selected area electron diffraction (SAED), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS), UV-spectrophotometry, Raman et energy dispersive X ray spectroscopy et Positron annihilation spectroscopy are explained en this volume.
